Alaska Silver salmon typically range from 5-15 pounds with the Alaska record over 26 pounds. Silver salmon provide our spin and fly fishing guest with acrobatic action and tasty fillets.
Silver Salmon first become available to us on our flyouts to the West side of Cook Inlet and also in the saltwater by mid July.
The Kenai River produces very consistenly from August to the end of September and the costal streams offer good silver fishing too.
We use both light spinning tackle and fly rods to target silver salmon and each silver is a thrill to catch with their acrobatics and strong runs.
